Yes, your assigned art director will give you different themes. Your content should be based on these subjects and submitted on the agreed deadline.
You have to design a minimum of 10 illustrations / week. There is no maximum, if you have time to design more, you can. In Flaticon you need to submit a minimum of 50 icons / week.
You will have access to our internal system which we have designed specifically for our platform where your assigned art director will give you the theme and you can submit all your content for any possible corrections or validation.
A fixed price per graphic resource is set once you do the initial test to check quality of work. Designing exclusively required very high standards of quality. Once that is done, your assigned coordinator will let you know the fixed price established.
Your invoice is generated in our system between the 4-9th of each month for you to validate at https://profile.freepik.com/my_stats → Invoice and payment is made between the 10-15th of each month. Your invoice is generated every month.

Yes, your art director would give you a deadline to submit your files. usually our exclusive designers have weekly tasks to achieve.
Once you become an exclusive designer at our platform you will have access to our internal system where you can upload your images easier and faster. Please keep in mind that your files must be reviewed and validated by your assigned art director before its upload. This is the same system you can use to keep in touch with your art director and ask him/her any questions you may have.
Currently we only have vacancies to work as an exclusive designer for vector illustration (EPS) designers and photographers.
If you are an exclusive designer at our platform, the theme is assigned by your art director. You cannot choose the theme.
If you have outstanding designer skills and a large portfolio available on different microstock platforms, then this model suits you perfectly.
We offer you two ways to collaborate with us as a contributor:

There is not an specific subject to create your graphic resources, you are free to create whatever you think would be useful to our users.
It is preferable if you can send initially more than 70+ graphic resources for review. As once you send your content they have to go through a selection process and files will not be uploaded unless a minimum of 10 are selected. Therefore, the more you send us for selection, the higher chances you have of creating a profile at our platform.
You have to submit your content through email to your assigned coordinator through a link attached in the email of either Dropbox or Wetransfer.
The payment is done per download as the content uploaded is non exclusive. Your assigned coordinator will give you more details regarding payment.

The first payment will be generated after 2 months since your first upload. After that the remaining payments will be done skipping a month but all months will be paid. In the case that, once the payment invoice has been validated, it has not been able to be completed before the 30th due to your paypal/skrill/payoneer account not accepting payments or other reasons, this invoice will be cancelled, and the amount will be accumulated to validate it with your next invoice.

Usually, there is no deadline to send your files, but is better to send them as soon as possible, preferably within 2 weeks. Keep in mind that the sooner you send your files, the sooner your content will be uploaded and you will start earning money.
You will have to submit your content to your coordinator / person of contact. These images would go through a selection process and the best ones would be posted on your portfolio at our platform. Alternatively we have an uploading system where you can upload your content directly to our platform but we only can give you access to this system once you are aware of the quality of work we are looking for. However, everything uploaded through the system also goes through a validation process.
You are able to upload vector illustrations (EPS), mock-ups (PSD) and photos (JPG) to your portfolio at our platform. The essential requirement is that every file must be originally created by you. In the case of submitting different kinds of files to your coordinator, please divide the files by category. For example, one folder named photos and another separated folder named vectors.
Whether you upload through the system or send your files to your coordinator / person of contact, please keep in mind that validation and uploading can take around 20 working days. However it can take longer depending on the files received by our designing team.
We always advise our designers to submit content that is useful for our users. The idea is to submit content that can be useful for a good number of projects our users might be working on. This might assure a good number of downloads and therefore a better income. Some of the styles that tend to work are: backgrounds, current festivities, wedding invitations, posters, banners, abstract, etc.
Yes, it is actually a good thing to do. Having festivities images on your portfolio will increase your downloads. However please send and/or upload festivity content only when the date is approaching, preferably a month before and avoid uploading a few days close to the date as this assures more downloads and consequently more earnings. For example: If we are in the month of January, it doesn't make sense to upload Christmas content as the date just passed and you will not get as many downloads as if you would have uploaded it in November. But in January it would be useful to upload Valentines designs as the number of downloads will keep on increasing as we get closer to the date.
As you may know, we receive thousands of files everyday and it’s pretty hard to tell the reasons of the rejection for each file.
Therefore, here’s a list of the reasons of rejection:
- The quality of files doesn’t fulfill the quality standards requested on our website.
- Repeated or similar files with a slight difference in between each other (color change, different size…).
- Your files don’t follow the previously requested specifications (dimensions, titles, tags…).
- We have detected a copyright infringement and your portfolio will be removed.
- If you have sent files for validation and have been rejected before, don’t send them again because if we did not select it before, means we are not interested in those files.
- Festivities files should be sent at least one month before the specific date not past de festivity date. Otherwise, they will be rejected. However, you can send it again closer to the date.

It is absolutely essential that the articles are 100% original, that means, that they have not been published before. There is no word limit when writing the article but there is a minimum of 800 words. The articles must be delivered before the 12th of each month and at most two articles can be written per month.
Of course. You can use our graphics to complement your articles. If you do it, don't forget to send us the links and the images on .jpg. If you use screenshots of other websites, you will have to credit the author and the file must be at least than 830 pixels wide.

We pay for each tutorial once it is sent and evaluated by us.. The price might vary depending on the length, difficulty... of the tutorial and it`s set with the art director.
You must judge the length of your tutorial, because you are the one that knows the time required for each step. we put no length limits!
Just so you know, the regular length of our video tutorials is from 2 to 30 minutes, and you can always split the video in two parts. But we also make longer tutorials which we call “courses” that might last 1:30 and are divided by lessons.
For written tutorials the average is around 20 steps , but as we said before, there are no limits.
Our platform tutorials are about design, illustration, animation… all digital art related.
Normally you turn in a list of possible tutorial you can do, and the art director in charge picks the ones he/she is interested in.
If it is your first time working with us, you should send a little bio of yourself with all your social media.
For every tutorial, you should send us a .JPG (1349x705px) of the image that results after you have followed all the tutorials steps, for the blog header and a little written intro.
Also we would require the .AI or .PSD of the final result because sometimes, we have to make adjustments for our social media.
For written tutorials, you must turn in two things:
- A .doc (please avoid .PDF files) with the tutorial itself, step by step, with all the images included as they would appear in the de final post on our web.
- A folder with all the images named in order (example: 01, 02, 03…). Images must be 830px wide, and if in one of the steps you have more than one image, please put them all together in the same image, with a white background.
For video tutorials you must send:
- An .mp4 file, format H.264, size 1920x1080
